This work was made for Clip Studio Paint's International Illustration contest with the theme "winter". I enjoy the peacefulness that the snow often brings, and wanted to add a more surreal and wondrous feel to that with the sky, and make it look like it opens up a new world. I initially had a different view in mind with the sky, but after trying out a few different things, I was very happy with the end result
